Instructor's Resource Manual

The Instructor's Resource Manual (IRM) contains the Lab and Textbook Audioscripts, the Aventuras and Aventuras en los países hispanos Videoscripts, English translations of the Aventuras conversations and the Aventuras en los países hispanos video, instructor annotations for Preparación and Gramática, Vocabulario adicional lists, and information gap activity handouts.

• The Lab and Textbook Audioscripts are written transcripts of the Lab and Textbook Audio Programs.
• The Aventuras and Aventuras en los países hispanos Videoscripts provide complete Spanish transcripts of the AVENTURAS 2e video segments.
• The English translations of the Aventuras conversations are for the video-based Spanish conversations printed in the Aventuras section of each lesson in the student text.
• The instructor annotations for Preparación consist of teaching suggestions for Lessons 9-16.
• All of the annotations for Gramática appear in the IRM. The teaching tips sections offer suggestions for explaining the grammar point, include additional model sentences and examples, and provide activities for heritage speakers and groups. Varied annotations for the Práctica exercises and Conversación activities in the center panels of the textbook's Gramática pages are also included. As of Lesson 6, additional suggestions for using the textbook's Ampliación section appear.
• For every textbook lesson, a Vocabulario adicional handout provides optional, supplementary vocabulary related to the lesson theme.
• New to the Second Edition, the information gap activity handouts are for use with the information gap activities found in the student text in Lessons 5-16 of Preparación and in Lessons 1-16 of Gramática.
