INVITACIONES is a new introductory Spanish program consisting of two hands-on interactive worktexts, the first of their kind published for first-year Spanish. Each worktext contains fifteen full-color lessons followed by workbook and lab manual sections, providing students with the three printed learning tools they need in one self-contained volume.
INVITACIONES combines communicative pedagogy with a video-driven approach. It focuses on students’ abilities to use and understand Spanish in practical, everyday contexts, and it integrates the characters and storyline of its specially-shot video into every section of every lesson, using them as springboards for personalized communication.
