The ¡A ver de nuevo! section requires the students to review the lesson and put the concepts in their own words. It’s an excellent way to encourage students to think about the focus of the lesson and what they have learned.

INVITACIONES is much better than the textbook I am currently using. I like the text very much - it seems to be very practical and communicative. I think it would be a joy to teach with this text.

The grammar and vocabulary sections are easy to understand. Just enough information is given so as not to be too complicated, but also explaining the grammar well.

This is an innovative use of a worktext combination. It is a non-traditional approach to teaching Spanish in real-life situations where students will need to learn the material and produce their own.

I think this text will be a winner. Those of us who like more communication and less analyzing will appreciate this text.
