I enjoy using the video that corresponds to the Fotonovela in class. My students laugh at the characters, but they understand. It works especially well when I show the episode at the end of the chapter, because they are able to tell how much they have learned and can comprehend in Spanish.

PANORAMA is the first book that we have used for 3 years in a row! We think it's the perfect combo of old-style & new-technology teaching.

The cohesion of the different components of PANORAMA allows students to follow the material without unnecessary distractions and makes it easy for instructors to assign homework.

PANORAMA has taken great care to match its engaging and entertaining multimedia input with the lexicon and structure presented in each lesson. As a result, students are neither confused nor overwhelmed when they tackle a variety of structured output and more improvisational output tasks. There is such a surplus of videos, readings, charts, and student activities to choose from, that each teacher has the option of selecting the teaching tools that he or she likes best.

PANORAMA is a comprehensive Spanish language course for beginners. The format of the book is inviting. The layout and page design are both excellent and attractive. It is a user-friendly textbook. The video presentations of the countries of the Spanish-speaking world provide interesting panoramic and detailed information bringing cultural aspects of the language alive. The students celebrate the Interactive CD-ROM! The activities and presentation are well planned and structured.

PANORAMA is a book students find easy to use and to understand. The Web-SAM is really great for students to keep practicing the lessons even after they are done with it. Also, it is easy for the professor to keep track of students' work."
