Textbook Audio Program
This audio program, recorded by native French speakers, integrates directly with the Espace contextes, Les sons et les lettres, À l'écoute, and Vocabulaire sections of the textbook. It is available in a variety of formats to suit students' varied needs and learning styles.
- It contains the recordings for the listening activity that begins Espace contextes.
- It provides the audio for the exercises in the Les sons et les lettres sections, where applicable.
- It contains the listening passages for the cumulative À l'écoute activity in each lesson's Savoir-faire section.
- It allows students to listen and repeat each vocabulary word or expression in the Vocabulaire section found at the end of each lesson.

- Included with the purchase of a new student text.
- The CD-ROM plays on any computer (MAC or PC) with a CD-ROM drive.
- Audio MP3s can be played on any MAC or PC (Software required: Windows Media Player on PC, Quicktime or iTunes on MAC.).
- MP3 files can also be burned to regular audio CDs.
- MP3 files can be played on iPod™ or other similar devices for convenient offline practice at any time.

Online Streaming/Downloadable Audio
- Available for playback or download from the Student and Instructor Supersites at espaces.vhlcentral.com.
- Streaming playback works on any computer (MAC or PC) with Macromedia Flash Player and/or an Internet connection.
- Downloaded files can be used offline on MP3 players (such as iPod™ or similar devices) or on any computer (MAC or PC) for convenient offline practice at any time.
- MP3 files can also be burned to regular audio CDs.
