Testing Program
The Testing Program contains tests for each of the textbook's ten lessons, semester exams and quarter exams. All tests and exams include sections on listening comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and communication. Listening scripts, answer keys, and optional Cortometraje and Imagina testing sections are also included. It is provided in Ready-to-Print PDF files, in RTF word processing files, and on a Test Generator.
There are tests or exams for the following:
- A test for each of the textbook's 10 lessons
- Semester exams for Lessons 1-5 and Lessons 6-10
- Quarter exams for Lessons 1-3, Lessons 4-6, and Lessons 7-10

Test Generator Software
- Included on the Instructor's Resource CD-ROM
- Diploma software from Brownstone runs on any Mac or PC computer with a CD-ROM drive.
- Software allows instructors to add, edit, or delete any questions in the pre-built tests.
- Instructors can build a totally new test by pulling questions from any existing test and/or by adding their own questions.
- Online testing with automatic scoring and feedback is provided for both custom and pre-built tests.
- Tests can be exported into WebCT and/or Blackboard.

RTF Word-Processing Files
- Included on the Instructor's Resource CD-ROM and Instructor Supersite at imagina.vhlcentral.com.
- Tests are saved as Rich Text Format (RTF) files. RTF files can be viewed with almost any word-processing software such as Microsoft Word™.
- The files can be viewed on any Mac or PC computer with a CD-ROM drive.
- Instructors can use pre-built files or create their own custom exams using their favorite word-processing software.

Ready-to-Print Format
- Included on the Instructor's Resource CD-ROM and Instructor Supersite at imagina.vhlcentral.com.
- PDF files can be used with Adobe Acrobat Reader software on any Mac or PC computer with a CD-ROM drive or with access to the Internet.
- These files are highly formatted, attractively laid out, and ready-to-use.
- PDF files cannot be edited.

MP3 Audio Files
- Included on the Instructor's Resource CD-ROM and Instructor Supersite at imagina.vhlcentral.com.
- These audio files provide the recordings on which the listening sections of the Testing Program's tests and exams are based.
- MP3 files can be burned to a CD for use with component CD players.
- These audio files can be played on any MAC or PC (Software required: Windows Media Player on PC, Quicktime, or iTunes.).
