Vista Higher Learning has announced that it will co-sponsor the 2010 ACTFL First Time Attendee Scholarship Program. The scholarship program offers members who have never attended ACTFL Annual Conventions the opportunity to apply for a $200 scholarship. This scholarship provides assistance with the expenses associated with attending the convention. The ACTFL Annual Convention offers language professionals a wide range of professional development opportunities through educational sessions and events.

“Everything that we do at Vista Higher Learning is dedicated to promoting the teaching and learning of world languages,” said Vista’s President, Janet Dracksdorf. ”We are especially happy to provide support for instructors and teachers who have never had the chance to attend an ACTFL Convention. We hope this conference will be the first of many for these attendees, and we look forward to meeting the scholarship recipients here in Boston in November.”
